Lights

The whole house-building project is moving along nicely. Bids are being finalized, financing is being finalized, and we have begun making purchases if we find something we like on sale. Jim and I are still having fun, too. Thank God.

Below are the lights we purchased for half price from Home Depot: a monster for the foyer, and a chandelier for the diningroom. Yay!!

Updates

The Farm planning is coming along nicely, and we hope to meet our goal of breaking ground in April. Our plans are done and out to subcontractors, financing is moving along as it should, and Jim and I are making a bazillion decisions each and every day regarding things such as fixtures (we are going with oil rubbed bronze), flooring (a combo of laminate and ceramic tile), trim (simple, very simple), and toilets (we are having Vipers installed - 'decided against the Avalanche. Seriously.)

Did I mention that the plans are spectacular? They are. A SHOUT OUT to our awesome architect and friend, Mike, for making our thoughts, ideas and dreams into a working document.
